The cabinet was emptied and then all the paint was stripped down to the natural maple
wood. |
Stain was applied to the cabinet which was a mixture of a couple different colors. |

This is a close-up of the selection buttons. All of the castings were replated
in 24K gold. One of the buttons you are looking at needed to be rebuilt
at the triangular shape that you would normally use to select a record was completely
broke off and missing. Try to guess which one it is. |

The door panel was painted gold. New plastics from Ken Arnold were installed.
The center catalin was cleaned and polished as well as the 4 glass tubes
on the grill. A new gold grill cloth was installed. |
